Apex Weight Bags are designed to allow for the setup of the Apex Canopy System on solid surfaces, such as concrete or asphalt. A great solution for vendors who set up in parking lots and need to set up quickly. We recommend using the Standard sets for our 10x10 sizes, but the larger sets for 10x15 and 10x20 as well as all tents that will have sidewalls attached. Apex Weight Bags are constructed from heavy duty 600D polyester, and feature Velcro closures to ensure that the ballast stays inside the weight bag where it belongs. Standard Weight Bags are 20-25 pounds when filled and either clip directly to the canopy leg; or for a more secure attachment point you can drop the bag 4-5 feet from the corners of the tent and use the ropes to tie to the frame. Comes with carry handles to make transport a breeze. SPECIAL NOTE: Weight bags are an important safeguard for the Apex Canopy System, however, it is important to note that the weight bags can only help keep the canopy from lifting in light winds. If the canopy becomes unsafe at any time due to high winds; it is always recommended that the canopy be taken down.
